"MY Community"
Our ever-growing community is in a constant state of change and need. However, no matter how large we become in number, without your voice, your actions, and your involvement, there would be no community.
"MY Community" on 104.3MYfm (KBIG) provides a weekly forum that serves you, and gives you a chance to talk about issues that affect all of us in Southern California. |

Jason spoke with Dr. Doug Loisel, Executive Director of Social Services and Pilar Buelna Associate Director of Social Services, both of the Salvation Army. They came in to discuss "Operation Feed Our Families."
Dr. Loisel and Ms Buelna discussed that a two-thirds of The Salvation Army's food pantries are either empty or at 50% of capacity. However, 81% of these same locations have experienced a demonstrable increase in requests for food assistance.
"Operation Feed Our Families" is aiming to raise funds to maintain the various Salvation Army food pantries located across Southern California. A donation of $100, $50, or even $25 will help The Salvation Army keep its shelves stocked with canned and dry goods. To donate to Operation Feed Our Families, visit http://www.operationfeedourfamilies.org or call 1-800-SAL-ARMY.
